Where did the last 2 months go??

Yes it has been over two months since I updated. Its weird...I got caught up with some weird file management issues at the radio station that swallowed up over 60 hours of my time and never got resolved.
Oh yea and Halloween happened too. My dept at work dressed up...It was suppose to be like a bunch of farmers but I couldn't find a tractor to match my blue plaid shirt! Gawd I'm such a blimpoid compared to the full moon hanging over my head:

On November 10th I had three young men join me in the studio. It was a night packed with hair songs...a tribute to our friend T-bone. Here is Rico, Babs & Snoshi hangin out at CJAI:

It was amusing when Robbie realized that there was not a Mac's Milk on the rock, so we used our tools and went out on the air as a public outcry for munchies:) We had two people call and say they would make us some microwave popcorn. When we went over to retrieve the snacks from the kind lady who owns the store, she ended up giving us the popcorn and opening the store for Robbie to buy smokes, doritos, penny candy, pop, chocolate bars and other various treats. What a doll that Laurie is!! The show ran smoothly but quickly. There were many laughs had by all and best of all, our friend Nancy Slater called us to say how she enjoyed our show. Nancy had just left Krock in Kingston to do a morning show at a rock station in North Bay!!! It was a treat to hear from her! Before I knew it I was rolling back across the water and said goodevening to the three boys who had me in stitches all night. The highlight had to be when I asked Ted (onair) what the call letters for the station were and he said CJAone !!! OMG I wanted to pee.

A few weeks later my friend Louise came over to the station to do a show with me! We had 16 online listeners before the internet crashed on us!!!! Weezie always brings great snacks wherever she goes:

She even took a video of me trying to queue up an album with my cd rom:)

Let's see...we went back to our friends Cheryl and Kenny's place for a surprise 50th birthday party for Cheryl. Here is a picture of all the crazy ladies in the house:
(please note, it was not ME taking my top off for the camera!)

Bryce sent me a few new pictures of Jacob and Dorrie:

doesn't Jake look like Alf in this one?

December has to be one of the fastest months...it went by in a blur. Maybe it had something to do with the record temperatures we had. This picture was taken on the 2nd of December and you would swear it was the middle of September. I like the way the sun is highlighting the coast guard boat out in the middle of the lake.

The next day I had a 'xmas party' at The Lodge on Amherst Island for the Radio Station. Here is a picture of Tom (CEO) and Terry Culbert (PD) of the station:

In Mid-December, our boss took our entire department bowling for the afternoon. How sweet is she??? We all had a riot...Some even dressed up for the occasion:

This is my new manager after he won the high score trophy:

The remainder of the month was spent shopping for that dumb holiday at the end of the month. Billy tells me that next year we are going away and don't have to be bothered with all that crap...Whoo Hooo

So Bryce and Dorrie came home for 6 days. Of course we had to get the dog dressed up for the occasion:

And this is what she did to her new kong:

Guess she wore herself out:

Here she is looking for more treats for her under the tree:

At Carolee and Norms on Christmas afternoon:

She just loves sitting in chairs:

At Wendy and Seans for christmas dinner:

Oh and check out these beautiful new socks (I bought for Bryce)

Santa brought me a new leather coat and the best gift of all...a NEW Canon digital camera. As my friend Shayne says "Its the tits!" It certainly is...I can even add zoom lenses to this puppy. I am so pleased and applaud Billies choice of new playtoy for me.

Here is a close up I took of Jethro yesterday as the sun streamed in through the front window:

And one of the snow as it twinkled down from the sky yesterday:

And the beautiful colour of the sun as it rose at 7 this morning:

Tonight we are off to Jim and Brenda's for New Years Eve festivities. Billy is making his world famous pizza dip to take with us. I just plan on drinking a few gingerales so I can drive his ass home. Tomorrow should be an even lazier day than today!! But at least I got this blog updated after 8 weeks of it sitting dormant!
